After conducting initial research, I developed Personas and a User Journey Map to gain a deeper understanding of my users and their process for selecting the right event venue. Personas help ume empathize with the diverse user base, while the User Journey Map visually illustrates the entire user experience, pinpointing pain points and areas for improvement. These tools equipped me to tailor my solutions to address user-specific needs and enhance their event venue discovery journey.
This project was a valuable learning experience that enriched my understanding of UX design and project management. It taught me the importance of balancing complex user requirements with elegant design solutions. As my first foray into the world of UX design with an event venue booking app project provided me with invaluable insights into user needs, the importance of seamless navigation, and the critical role of clear and concise information presentation in ensuring a positive user experience. Additionally, the project underscored the value of iterative design processes, continual feedback, and the need to remain updated with the latest industry trends to deliver a successful and engaging event venue booking app.
